About Today’s Affirmation
‘Tis a mouthful, I admit. This is the "vows of limitation" affirmation. Since the theme of the month is mastery, I have filled the affirmation will all the usual ideas of limitations. Vows might be said in anger or revenge. Vows might be said in celebration or as part of a religious practice. Obsolete vows might be those of earlier times, ancestors, religion, or culture. You have the power to rescind vows that you no longer desire to embrace.

About Your Process
When suggesting the vows of limitation affirmation in some appropriate form to clients over the years, I have seen the depth of healing this process can touch. If this affirmation touches you when you read it, you may choose to take it one step further and write it. You may want to write it repeatedly, first with your dominant hand and then your non-dominant hand. The pattern 9-3-9 is particularly potent, that is, nine times with your dominant hand, three times with your non-dominant hand, and nine more times with your dominant hand. Or simply alternate, left then right, writing the affirmation as many times as you choose. Keep in mind that a little bit of knowledge about obsolete vows goes a long way; do not overdo this or you will be releasing the overdoing next month.
