About Today’s Affirmation
Today is a good day to consider what surrender means to you. In battle, you surrender to the opponent, the enemy. In personal growth, however, the word is used in another way: to surrender upward or inward. In order to surrender to higher principles, old stuff must drop away. Resistance, disappointments, untruths, limitations, distortions, half-truths, lies, and misconceptions are all grist for the letting-go mill. When you let go of lies and burdens, you may find such things "in your face," as a popular expression says, because they come into your attention. Angels and other spiritual beings of light willingly do what humans sometimes cannot do. Ask for their assistance and thank them for their presence as they carry off the unwanted stuff.
About Your Process
Working with these affirmations this week can set up a potent release. When you’re ready to let go of distortions, you may start seeing them everywhere! When you turn in each direction, you may find distortions. If this happens to you, consider that the process is working. It’s working because these distortions have your attention, so they’re what you see. Notice this phenomenon quickly, energize the concept of release, and then refocus your attention on something you find pleasurable.
