About Today’s Affirmation
I love this affirmation. In a brief prayer, it opens a pathway to perceive nuances about surrender that you might otherwise miss. It is a simple request for lessons and experiences to come to you in a way that you can accept at your own unique level of consciousness. Your "understanding" may be physical, emotional, mental, and/or spiritual. You may receive the understanding in your mind’s eye or through your feelings or in your thoughts or with your senses. And even further, accept that the lessons come easily and effortlessly. Amen.
About Your Process
Remember that the invitation is always open to you to edit the words in these affirmations. This is your process. It can be an act of empowerment to weave your own consciousness into the consciousness of these words. Occasionally I receive a message from someone who is in adamant disagreement with something I’ve said, trying to convince me to see something another way. I’m totally content for you and me to disagree. In fact, I applaud differences and varieties of experiences. Remember, the understanding and experiences you ask for in today’s affirmation are matters between you and your own concept of Spirit. It is time to give up arguing or comparing yourself to anyone else, so that you can see yourself as God sees you.
