"Yes to Freedom!"
Greetings! Our theme is Freedom at DailyAffirm, http://www.DailyAffirm.com. These last days of the month we work with integrating and embodying freedom. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation and suggestions for your process. See top tabs and navigation bar links for more information and resources.
About Today’s Affirmation
Simply yes. Yes to freedom. When you keep your attention on what you desire with positive thoughts, less attention or energy is given either to your desires with negative thoughts or to those things that you do not desire. With millions of choices and possibilities, your job is to recognize the situations that feel good for you, the ones you want to say "yes" to. Whether you use the word or not, your attention to a thing is the equivalent to saying yes.
About Your Process
So, to what do you say "yes" today? Will you say "yes" to freedom? Consider the many yeses that lead you to true freedom. Every decision is a choice. Do not fall victim to the erroneous and currently-popular belief that "I am supposed to say ‘yes’ to everything that comes to me." Instead, know that you are to discern whether those things that come to you are the things that you desire, and say yes to them. You will know those things by their resonance. You have a particular resonance. Freedom has a particular resonance. Every thing has a resonance. Do you know when to say "yes, this is for me"? If so, remember that it is your attention that says yes.
