March 13, Positive Affirmation for Balance

"I accept balance, harmony, and grace in all aspects of my life."

Greetings! Our theme is Balance at DailyAffirm, http://www.DailyAffirm.com. This second week of the month we work with receiving and accepting balance. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation and suggestions for your process. See top tabs and navigation bar links for more information and resources.

About Today’s Affirmation
This affirmation presents the concept of the Receiving/Accepting affirmations clearly, simply, concisely. You could make it shorter by saying "I accept balance." However, to articulate (and feel) the specific elements you wish to accept is clarifying both to you and to the Universe. How you feel is important, for if you feel you are compromising or giving up something, you are not truly "accepting." Acceptance is clear and clean, without conditions or regrets or doubts.

About Your Process
The article "Fire Free Bird" speaks about this kind of acceptance, although I use the word "surrender" in the article. This short article might be inspiring if you are struggling or are challenged with the idea of balance. Likely, you have developed a style of outward action for making things happen — a powerful skill in many settings. When you are progressing on your spiritual journey, though, it is important to blend this quality of outer action with the quality of receptivity or acceptance. That is balance. You may find that you have to go through an interim step to stop the outward action or aggressiveness so that you can experience acceptance as a distinct dynamic.
