Positive Affirmations for the Week of December 1-7, Mastery

Greetings in the 1st week of December with the theme of
Mastery, an appropriate theme to complete the calendar year. In this message, I’ll give you an overview of the next seven days of the DailyAffirm Process. The sidebars provide you with additional information. Read the messages Day by Day or, simply check in when the spirit moves you. If you prefer to receive the daily messages by email, please subscribe to our email alert list (check the top bar).

About the Over-arching Intention
If you haven’t already done so, please identify an over-arching intention for Mastery. This is a statement that guides you during the month as you explore the theme of mastery. Intention is the energy or consciousness from which actions emerge. You have 31 days to work with the intention and the theme, so let your exploration enrich the statement. Here are a few suggestions for statements of intention about the theme of Mastery: *To live in the constant realization of all that is. *I realize that I manifest from Spirit, not from the physical. *To know in each moment that I create my life. *I know my power is in Spirit.

About Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations and Mastery
This week’s affirmations help you to release anything that prevents you from experiencing your mastery. You may recognize the blockage or not. Just release and stop giving your attention to things that are not empowering — thoughts and images and memories and distortions and limitations. It matters not what they are or who created them. In fact, when you explore them too much, you only create more of the same while you’re exploring, and then they truly become yours. Instead, choose to release. Let go. Release resistance. Cleanse the energy field. Give your attention to mastery.

About Your Process in the First Week
As you’re releasing non-mastery this week, be very gentle with yourself. You may find that all your feelings of inadequacy and issues of incompetence come to tap you on the shoulder. Say "hi" or "this is a familiar feeling, but now I’m creating something else in my life to be familiar." Keep shifting your attention from what you’re releasing and place it on something that stimulates appreciation. Persevere in shifting from negative feelings to positive feelings.

I recommend that you write this week’s affirmations, if such a process appeals to you. I’ve developed a process which is described in the book, "Affirmations: A Pathway to Transformation" and in the article entitled, "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment." This article is posted at one of my Web site along with 40 others, http://www.mhmail.com and then click on Articles by Jeanie.

About the Affirmations in the First Week
If I were to select the definitive affirmation for the week to represent releasing and cleansing for Mastery, it would be the affirmation for December 2: "I rescind old vows of poverty, celibacy, struggle, silence, sacrifice, revenge, and unworthiness." Many have experienced the power of this affirmation using it as suggested in the process mentioned above. Keep this very important caveat in mind: A little goes a long way. Rescind what you don’t want and then refocus on what you do want.

Make this a wondrous week!
