November 1, Positive Affirmation for Surrender
"I give myself permission to release burdens effortlessly
from every level of the energy field."
… Greetings! Our theme is Surrender at DailyAffirm, http://www.DailyAffirm.com. This first week of the month we work with releasing and cleansing non-Surrender. Following today’s affirmation are comments about the affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles. See top tabs and navigation bar links for more information and resources.
About Today’s Affirmation
Giving yourself permission to let go can sometimes seem like a major undertaking. To let go of burdens can feel impossible, especially when you’ve become accustomed to the load. But it’s possible to release these burdens. And it’s possible to release them effortlessly. Sometimes you may not know exactly what or where the burdens are, so I like to include the concept of "every level (or layer) of the energy field" or words to that effect. This concept opens up all the layers for release and takes the pressure off the weakest places, which are ordinarily used for the exit of toxins. Surrender the burdens. Surrender the resistance to surrendering the burdens. Relax your hold on anything you don’t want.
About Your Process
Are you ready to surrender your burdens? I’ve suggested this basic releasing affirmation to many hundreds of clients and workshop participants and thousands of DailyAffirm subscribers. I’ve found that this and other releasing/cleansing affirmations, such as DailyAffirm uses during these seven days, to be particularly conducive to writing repeatedly.
So, here are the general instructions. Write the affirmation nine times with your dominant hand, followed by three times with your non-dominant hand, then nine more times with your dominant hand. I call this a "set" and designate it as 9-3-9. A set can be any number or set of numbers that resonates with you. The number 3 is powerful for creation, so I typically use multiples of 3 when working in groups or talking generally about the approach. Other popular sets are 7-3-1, 8-4-8, 5-5-5. If this exercise doesn’t appeal to you, choose another one — there will be plenty more this week.
Make this a clear day!
