About Today’s Affirmation
To let go of everything that impedes your transformation does not require that you know precisely what you are releasing. Trying to figure everything out is one of the most effective ways I know to impede your transformation! Your life’s journey is a private contract between you and yourself. It is sometimes hard to remember this Truth when you are taught to compare and measure and evaluate and criticize and compete.
No matter what I might say here on DailyAffirm as a Spiritual principle, the reality of practical life may demand that you compare and measure and evaluate and criticize and compete. I encourage you to let go of these practices in your Spiritual life. When a critical mass within your circle of friends embodies this idea, you will more easily apply this principle to everyday life.
About Your Process
What is your Spiritual/Divine contract? Great question, right? Having even an inkling of this is helpful in further letting go of anything that impedes your progress. As you ask yourself this question, try not to get frustrated by not having a slick or finite answer. This single question is a powerful one you can ask yourself many times each day; many answers may be appropriate over time in different situations. If you find yourself in a conflict with another person, ask yourself what the Spiritual/Divine contract is between the two of you. As you begin a new project, ask yourself what the Spiritual/Divine contract is as you engage in the project. What is your spiritual/divine contract for today?
